What I do
I help organizations improve how projects, data, and technology work together, so leaders can make better decisions without overwhelming staff or disrupting daily operations.
My career did not start with a clear plan to work in project management, analytics, or AI. In 2005, I took a job shipping brochures and promotional materials to tire dealers and stayed with the company for the next seventeen years.
Over time, I became more interested in the systems that made the work possible. How products moved from an idea to market. How cross-departmental decision-making required immense discipline. How information moved between engineering, sales, operations, marketing and leadership. And why some launches gained momentum while others struggled even when the underlying product was competitive.
By the end of my time there, I managed the commercial tire category, chaired the product committee, and worked between U.S. and Japanese engineering teams to align product requirements, market needs, and launch execution support. My team and the work they produced contributed to fourteen product launches, $294 million in new revenue, and 3.5 points of increased market share. It also gave me an early understanding of something that has carried into every role since: good execution depends as much on clear objectives, shared ownership, and user adoption as it does on the quality of the product itself.
In 2022, I left to finish a degree I had started years earlier. I graduated magna cum laude from West Texas A&M University with a BBA in Computer Information Systems, served as chapter president of the American Marketing Association, and later joined the university in roles that allowed me to apply the information systems tools and techniques I was learning. I supported a CRM implementation, developed reporting tools for university leadership, and continued building experience at the intersection of technology, data, process, and people.
Before this, my work was in the energy sector. Through WSP, I supported Xcel Energy’s Transmission PMO, helping project teams understand cost, schedule, regulatory requirements, portfolio performance, and where intervention may be needed. I grew into the wildfire program lead role for Southwestern Public Service, the Xcel operating company serving the Texas Panhandle, the South Plains, and eastern and southern New Mexico, where I built the tier and severity based measures that track remediation progress against the capital behind it. I also helped establish and enhance the PMO’s analytics capability, including defining roles, participating in interviews, onboarding team members, and developing the reporting standards and tools used to support the PMO’s portfolio.
In August 2026, I joined ASIS International as Director of Project Management & Data Analytics. ASIS is a nonprofit membership association that supports more than 34,000 security professionals across 240 global chapters, and my work covers the project management office and the analytics function. A large part of the role is enterprise-wide digital transformation. We are modernizing the association's information systems platforms, which means the website, ecommerce, and the member management systems that members and staff touch every day. Alongside that, I lead the portfolio, own data governance and business intelligence, guide AI adoption where it earns its place in the work, and coach the team that carries all of it. The role is fully remote, with the association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
At the same time, I am completing Georgetown University’s Master of Professional Studies in Artificial Intelligence Management. My interest in AI originated in the allure of the technology, especially predictive analytics, and later evolved into more about how organizations decide where it’s necessary to use it, how it’s governed, and measuring the added value created by a successful implementation. It’s exciting!
There are also parts of my background that do not fit neatly into a resume. I am a first-generation college graduate, which has influenced how I think about leadership, development, and access to opportunity for all walks of life. I serve on the board of a Panhandle nonprofit focused on conservation through creative reuse, and I am a member of InfraGard, the FBI’s public-private partnership supporting the protection of critical infrastructure.
My management style is grounded in servant leadership. I believe leaders should be willing to ask basic questions, openly acknowledge when they do not know something, and create enough trust for the strongest idea to win regardless of where it comes from.

My approach to leading
My role as a leader is to make it easier for good people to do good work. I ask questions, remove obstacles, create clarity where I can, and give the team ownership of the result. The best days are the ones where somebody discovers a better way to do something than the way I suggested.
